The CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing and Disability) qualification reflects the role of individuals in the community, home or residential care setting who work under supervision and delegation as part of a multi-disciplinary team, following an individualised plan to provide person-centred support to people who may require support due to aging, disability, or other conditions.

All Ageing Specialisation electives must be selected for award of the CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing).
All Disability Specialisation electives must be selected for award of the CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability).
All Ageing and Disability Specialisation electives must be selected for award of the CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing and Disability).
Vocational Placement
This qualification includes a mandatory 120-hour unpaid vocational placement.
Your Learning Portal will assist in procuring a suitable placement, however, students are expected to take a proactive role in sourcing an appropriate placement opportunity.
Please note that a driver’s license and access to a car may be required to attend the placement.
Placement Clearances
To attend placement, you will be required to have the following:
Federal Police Clearance
NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
Meet current NDIS Vaccination Requirements
Complete the NDIS Worker Orientation Module
Delivery Mode
This course is delivered face-to-face, 2 days on campus per week and self-study is required.
