The CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing and Disability) qualification reflects the role of individuals in the community, home or residential care setting who work under supervision and delegation as part of a multi-disciplinary team, following an individualised plan to provide person-centred support to people who may require support due to aging, disability, or other conditions.
Through this entry-level course, students gain the ability to provide and manage personalised care to their clients, ensuring they feel comfortable, safe and supported.

All Ageing Specialisation electives must be selected for award of the CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing).

This qualification includes a mandatory 120-hour unpaid vocational placement. Your Learning Portal will assist in procuring a suitable placement, however, students are expected to take a proactive role in sourcing an appropriate placement opportunity. Note that a driver’s licence and access to a car may be required to attend the placement.

To attend at placement you will be required to have a federal police clearance, NDIS Worker Screening Clearance, meet the NDIS vaccination requirements and complete the NDIS Worker Orientation Module.
